Happy Fathers Day
16/06/10 20:42
Happy Fathers Day to all the fathers out there and to my own dear dad Wilfrid Plamondon. Just got back from Moncton, NB where I recorded the radio-canada television program "Pour l'amour du country" with Patrick Norman, who is a dream to work with. What an amazing singer, guitar picker and human being. What fun we had! An amazing dream band that I had worked with for a lot of years and the production team of Connections Productions. Merci! Many thanks to Frank, Carmel & Daniel, Denise, Angele all the camera, makeup, hair crew.
The hair & make up crew, you know, are the most important! The whole team is just wonderful, if I forgot any one, forgive me! La famille Daraiche (Paul, Julie, Dani) from Quebec were also on the show so I got to sing with them and got to know them. I just love all the Acadiens in Moncton what a great place, always like going home.
Thanks to Doris, Claude, Vic & Rachelle Melanson for driving us around and making the best salmon in the world!
My band and I did a concert for the Calgary French & international School's 40th anniversary June 9th. What a hoot, I had the grade K-4 sing a couple of songs with me and accordion virtuoso Michael Bridge play accordion with me. It was a wonderful day. Thank you so much to the head master Richard Slevinsky. To Katherine Ray who organized and worked tirelessly and the music teacher Bonnie Jaycock. Thank you to my wonderful sound technician Doug Lowry and Colin.
Just wanted to say Hey to my stylist Colin McConnell at Andrew Simon Salon in High River. They use only organic products. One of the products I use is ONESTA. The ONESTA company is sending all their hair clippings from all their salons in North America to Louisiana to help soak up the oil spill. Hair soaks up oil........So you see that is one of the natural reasons I go see Colin and use the products and you should too! www.onestahaircare.com
This Saturday, don't miss the corrected version of the Tongue on the Post show this weekend (Sat June 19) on Key of A, 5-6 pm, across Alberta on CBC Radio 1.
Happy Birthday to Joe LeBlanc (June 22) & Tommy Girouard (June 26)
Ok gotta go, God Bless, see you down the road!
