Summer and birthdays and mosquitoes

Hi Everyone, summer is going by way too fast, tsk, tsk...
Oh what summer, I mean the 2 days of summer we've had in Alberta. On the bright side, too cold and rainy for mosquitoes! They're all in Louisiana. Took a side trip to Montana with my parents, another one of my favourite places.
A lot of important birthdays to mention this month:
August 2 Stacey Palmer in Dickson, TN is a whole, fabulous 50!
My stepdaughter Jesse Simpson's birthday on August 8---25!
My God daughter Kate Beebe is legally 21 on August 11.
My niece Vanessa Plamondon will be the big 30 on August 12, just like yesterday to me I held her in my arms and now her little one Trace will be a big 1 year old on August 29.
My friend Yvonne McNabb from Golden, BC August 18 and Jen Koch from Buck Lake, AB. on August 19. Happy, happy Birthday to you all!
My sympathy to my guitarist Gord Matthews and family who lost his Mom in July, she is with the Angels.
Don't forget the Central Music Festival in Red Deer AB, August 13 & 14, great little festival I played it 3 years in a row, they needed a break from me this year.
See you down the road, I guess in September for my first gig. Edmonton Full Moon Folk Club on September 17th.
