Happy Valentines Day!  I have a new little “great” nephew.  Tyler Reginald Melanson born February 7.  6 lbs-14 ozs,  his little brother Trace is happy, he is gorgeous and Mom Vanessa and Daddy Gilles are very happy he is here safe & sound!  Jerry & Stacey Palmer from Dickson, TN are celebrating their 25 anniversary on Valentines Day!

My brother Reginald Happy Birthday Feb 17, Esther Tyree Feb 19, My Dad Wilfrid Plamondon on Feb 22, and Happy Anniversary to Harvey & Sara Girouard from Lafayette, LA on Feb 20 - 41 years!

Hi!  Don’t miss CBC’s ” Heartland” on Sunday October 30, “The Slippery Slope” they are using my song “Saving The Best For Last”.  I am so excited.  This is the 4th time my voice is featured on “Heartland” but this time it’s my own song and as myself!  Also check out my sweetie/partner Dayle Simpson, he is making his television debut as Bobby Morrow, Grandpa Jack’s buddy, who brings him a bottle of wine for his birthday and is his old band mate from the old days!  It will be a great episode.  The cast and crew of “Heartland” are an incredibly talented gang.  Thank you so much to head writer & executive producer Heather Conkie for always believing in me.

I had a great trip up north, I had some great shows and met and worked with some awesome people.  First of all the whole crew and volunteers at the Shell Theater in the Dow Centennial Center in Ft. Saskatchewan, AB, but especially Elizabeth Budd and Richard Gagnon for making it all possible.  No wonder they are nominated for 1 of the top 15 theaters to play in Canada for 2011!  Congratulations!  

Also many thanks to my great band„„„,Dayle Simpson, Fred Larose, Gord Matthews, Jonathan Lewis; and John & Carmen at the Early Stage Saloon in Stony Plain.  What a great place.  Great food and ambience, a very special treasure in Stony Plain, check it out please.
